Writing the Wrong journalists and photographers will:

1. Act professionally;
2. Respect the law;
3. Openly declare conflicts of interest;
4. Present news & commentary honestly, bearing in mind the privacy & sensibilities of individuals as well as the public interest;
5. Correct any mistakes promptly and, where necessary, with appropriate explanation/apology;
6. Exercise sympathy and discretion in matters involving personal grief;
7. Avoid plagiarism and respect copyright & other intellectual property rights of others;
